Education/Background: As someone with a passion for public health, Dr. McKenna loves working as part of a community healthcare team that’s focused on individual and community health. Dr. McKenna’s undergraduate degrees include a bachelor’s in Latin American History. After earning her undergraduate degree she served in the Peace Corps both in the Pacific Islands and in Guatemala, specializing in community development and infrastructure for family health. She attended medical school at Tufts University in Boston where she also earned a Master’s in Public Health, writing her thesis work on diabetes prevention in Guatemala. Dr. McKenna completed her family medicine residency at Oregon Health & Sciences University in Portland, OR.
