Health Equity Champion 2022 Award Winners!
Gorge Native American Collaborative
At One Community Health (OCH) we work to prioritize the unique healthcare needs of Native People living along the Columbia River and outlying communities. Through these efforts, OCH has the honor of being part of the Gorge Native American Community Partner Collaboration (GNAC), which was recently awarded the Oregon Public Health Association’s Health Equity Champion Award.
GNAC is a dynamic and passionate group of non-profits, healthcare providers, educators, inter-tribal organizations, social service providers, State, Tribal, and county governments, and others organized to offer support to Native American community members in the Columbia River Gorge. GNAC truly embodies the communities helping communities’ spirit.
The Oregon Public Health Association’s Health Equity Champion Award recognizes organizations that have made significant contributions in addressing health equity issues in Oregon. The award is given annually at the Oregon Public Health Association’s annual meeting in October.
