NorthShore Medical Group announces partnership with White Salmon Schools’ Health and WellnessCenter

White Salmon, WA, May 30, 2019: NorthShore Medical Group (NSMG), a community-based practice serving all of the residents of the Columbia River Gorge region, will offer behavioral health therapy services at the White Salmon Schools’ Health and Wellness Center and at NSMG offices in the upcoming 2019-2020 school year. 

Having behavior therapy services conveniently located at the school and at NSMG’s office will better support students, families and teachers within the White Salmon area. Our services will help local students to be healthy, both physically and mentally.

NSMG’s behavioral health providers can help students by promoting well-being and helping them to manage stress, anxiety and depression. Our providers will also work with teachers, administrators, parents, and students to promote mental fitness and connect them with other local resources as appropriate.

Appointments will be made by a teacher or principal referral. Students and their families can schedule an appointment at an NSMG office location as well.

Initial services for the Health and Wellness Center will be in place this fall in a temporary building while a new building will be constructed by the fall of 2020. The approval of the building was part of a bond levy that passed earlier this year.
