Providence Hospital specialists Dr. Gelow and Dr. Olsen to see patients at NorthShore White Salmon

White Salmon, WA, August 29, 2018: NorthShore Medical Group (NSMG), a community-based practice serving residents of the Columbia River Gorge, is excited to announce new specialist options for patients in our White Salmon office. 

Providence Hood River specialists, Cardiologist, Jill Gelow, M.D. and Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT)/Otolaryngology head and neck surgeon, Steven Olsen, M.D., will now see patients in NSMG’s White Salmon office twice a month. 

NSMG is pleased the collaboration will help provide more specialty services to benefit patients., An Oregon native with family in The Dalles, Dr. Jill Gelow is excited to practice in the Columbia Gorge. She is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine and advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology. Gelow was voted a Top Cardiologist in Portland Monthly magazine’s Top Doctors issue four times from 2014 to 2018 and she is a patient favorite. Her number one goal is guiding and supporting her patients through their diagnosis and following treatment. 

Dr. Steven Olsen joined Providence six years ago after completing training at The Mayo Clinic. He enjoys practicing general adult and pediatric ENT. His areas of focus include treating cancers of the head and neck including the salivary glands, thyroid, parathyroid and skin cancers. He also specializes in sinus and nasal disorders, sleep apnea, pediatric otolaryngology, swallowing and voice issues, and basic otology problems including hearing loss and ear infections.
