Expanded Oregon Health Plan Coverage for Oregon Residents Effective July 1st
This is an expansion of the Healthier Oregon program, which was established last year, that provided Medicaid-type services to immigrants who did not qualify for the Oregon Health Plan due to their immigration status. While Healthier Oregon covered only those between 19-24 and 55 and older who met the necessary low-income and other requirements, the expanded program offers free health insurance to all eligible oregon residents.
